Sabine Brueske

Sabine Brueske leads strategic energy program efforts for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Industrial Technologies Office. She has extensive experience in energy use analysis, technology assessment, and roadmap development for national laboratories and the California Energy Commission. A former industrial engineer, she has demonstrated award-winning energy projects in the field and continues to guide large-scale initiatives that drive innovation in industrial energy systems.

Robert Lung

Robert Lung is an ORISE Fellow with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Industrial Technologies Office, where he supports the Better Plants and Technical Assistance programs. He brings more than 20 years of experience advancing energy efficiency and clean energy through research, policy analysis, and industry engagement. Robert previously held leadership roles with the Alliance to Save Energy, Resource Dynamics Corporation, and his own consulting firm, Industrial EE Advisor. He holds a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and an M.S. in Economics from Virginia Tech.

Madeleine Murphree

Madeleine Murphree is an ORISE Fellow with the Department of Energy’s Industrial Technologies Office, focusing on energy efficiency opportunities within the cement and concrete industries. She earned B.S. and M.E. degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, where she researched rapid, performance-based testing for concrete mixtures. Her background spans materials engineering, ready-mix operations, and structural consulting.

Senthil Sundaramoorthy

Senthil Sundaramoorthy is an R&D Staff Member at Oak Ridge National Laboratory supporting DOE’s Better Plants program through energy assessments, roadmap development, and training for industrial partners. With over 12 years of experience in industrial and commercial energy systems, he previously led custom engineering and monitoring-based commissioning projects at Hudson Technologies. Senthil holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University and is a Certified Energy Manager and Qualified Specialist in process heating and steam systems.

Dipti Kamath, PhD.

Dr. Dipti Kamath is an R&D Associate Staff Member at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, specializing in techno-economic and life-cycle assessment of industrial and biorefinery systems. She also serves as a Technical Account Manager for DOE’s Better Plants program. Dipti’s expertise centers on circular economy approaches integrating energy efficiency, waste management, and sustainability. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering and Science Policy from Michigan State University, an M.Tech. in Environmental Engineering from IIT Delhi, and a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from the University of Calicut.

Blake W Billings, PhD.

Dr. Blake W. Billings is an R&D Associate and Energy Engineer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Research & Analysis Group. His work focuses on grid-responsive smart manufacturing and process optimization. Blake earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah and his B.S. from Brigham Young University. He has conducted more than 40 energy audits across manufacturing and public sectors and previously managed Dominion Energy Utah’s StepWise energy assistance program.
